The Coaching Process
Leadership coaching is normally done through a series of one to one sessions. During the first session the leader will decide if the coach is a good fit and will agree on a coaching contract which will determine the number and duration of coaching sessions to be held. A confidentiality agreement will also be signed by both parties.
The sessions give the leader an opportunity to ‘think out loud’, and with effective input from the coach, to evaluate and clarify purpose. The coach has no agenda, and by asking the right questions will help the leader to implement business goals and seize the future.
